Hello! Welcome to my online diary! Get ready for take-off! We'll soon be cruising at an altitude of just over 5 feet.
Hope you'll post a tag or write a note

Life is good... LMBO!
Praise the Lord! I'm truly thankful for the job. I will be working in the admissions areas of the hospital where my hubby works. ER, admit, pre-admit and in one of the testing facilities as a floater. It's full time, so won't complain about being moved hither, thither and yon! The lady who did my interview, Trish, was so great and very excited about getting me.
Having Nick's moustache gone is just a huge bonus! LOL! Knew that gal would come back soon, but didn't recognize her at the beginning when she was at the crime scene.
But I digress......
I did almost have a problem about the job thing, though. My old boss told me when my job dissolved that he'd give me a great reference, so not to worry. Don't know why I listened to him, 'cause he's never done a thing that he said he was going to. Anywho, the temp agency who I'm working through to get this job, they called him 3 times during a week and a half, and he NEVER returned one single call! Did I mention I go to church with this guy? No wonder why some people decide not to go to church.
But, I have another friend who works at my old hospital that has lots of pull and I knew who would do what he said, so I gave him a call, and he was more than happy to give a reference for me! I got to church with him, too. His wife sings in the choir with me, and she's such a doll! Ran into her on Tuesday at the store and told her to tell her DH that I got the job. She was thrilled for me!
So, yesterday I had orientation at the temp agency. I have to work so many hours for them before I can become a full-time employee of my new hospital. Had to then go for the drug screen, and the agency is now doing background and credit checks, since I'll probably be handling some money (co-pays and the like), although that's not expected to happen until they open the new ER.
Yes, they're getting a new ER! 33 PRIVATE rooms, plus at least 4 more for those waiting to be moved to a regular bed on the floor. They'll be doing most of the registration process in the rooms with privacy. Which is where I come in.
Almost literally! They needed more hands trained and ready when the new unit opens up. So, I'm gving them a pair!
My newly pregnant sister is doing fine. The baby is due at the end of June (did I predict that here? Don't remember, but I did predict it with many friends in other ways/places).
My newest nephew is getting bigger and stronger daily, I'm told. He's gained well over a pound since he was released from the hospital. So hard to believe he'll be a month old tomorrow! His mom has been released from her OB/GYN, but she is still having pain in her legs and feet. The GP she saw the other day told her she had aggrivated the nerves, so he's given her some meds which should help with the inflamation over the next couple of weeks.
OK, that's pretty much all I have for now.
Hugs y'all!
