Life is Circular

  • Mood: Good! Just wish this headache would leave me alone!
  • Music: None at present. Paul Harvey's on.
  • Must See TV Tonight? CRIMINAL MINDS
  • Can't Wait For: Tomorrow nights CSI epi!

Does this title sound new age or hippy-ish?  Well, don't truly take it that way.

Guess who's making a short return to General Hospital?  Rick Springfield as Dr. Noah Drake!  This will happen at the beginning of December according to E! online.  It's been YEARS since I watched that show, but, in my personal opinion, like most soap operas, it probably hasn't really changed that much.  Some new faces, but most story lines don't alter too much....    Remember, THAT IS MY OPINION!  You don't have to agree, but don't beat me up, either.

CSI has been getting better and better!  My poor Nick is having post traumatic stress disorder, for sure!  How can people not think George Eads is a great actor?!?!  He's showing depth of emotion better than most big deal movie stars today!  The fact that I find him totally hot really has nothing to do with my opinion on his acting skills.    I swear!  This Thursday should be another great show, with Sara thinking that Nick's lost it regarding the case they'll be working on!

I've also been watching a new CBS show titled CRIMINAL MINDS.  It's very good!  If you haven't seen it, it's on Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. EST, 8 CST.  It's on right before CSI:NY.

Gilmore Girls is my other "must watch" program.  I can't wait until the Lorilie/Rory 'fighting' is over.  They are no good apart!  And last night, I read some scoop about a couple of characters.  If you don't like spoilers, don't read the rest of this paragraph!  Someone (and I know who!) will be returning to Lorilie's life, causing trouble, you can bet, for her relationship with Luke.  But Luke, apparently, will also meet up with a brand new lady who will turn his life around!

My husband has gotten me watching the new NBC show, MY NAME IS EARL.  It's hysterical!  Although I do find it hard to look at Jason Lee with all that long, nasty hair and moustache.  He's an attractive man, and, yes, I know it's for the character, but he's really much better looking without all that 'extra hair'.

It's been almost a month since I posted, I know.  Been looking for a job (which I still don't have.  Either too epxerienced or not enough.  It's my curse for having a crappy major in college.), been staying up late and sleeping in, and done a bit of work on the 'new' house.  Keepin' busy!

My sister, Michelle, the pregnant one, well, we had her baby shower at the beginning of this month and it went well!  She racked up, and that was just from me!  I did get some really great deals on some really neat stuff.  Tiny pair of hiking boots, some funny sayings on bibs, crocheted the baby his own blanket, other stuff, too.  Brought him back some clothes and a mini back pack from South Africa when I was there in August.  She has her other one (for her hubby's side of the family/friends group) at the end of this month.  Don't know yet if I'll be able to go, but I DO want to try!  Now that gas prices have gone down here over 30 cents a gallon, I could do it much more affordably!

Went to an open house party at a friend from college's new house this past Saturday evening.  Jeff and I were the only non-drinkers there.  I know it's hard to get all of your friends and neighbors together and not have clicks, but since I was the only college friend who could make it, we didn't have many ppl to talk to.  There was a nice couple who used to live in Wendy's old neighborhood that sat at our table, but most ppl stuck to their 'group'.

For those who prayed for Neal, I do appreciate it!  He got to go home in a week and is apparently doing quite well, all things considered.  He's a VERY lucky young man!

Also, I want to mention that this month is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month here in the US.  If you would like to help fund free mammograms for poor women, you can go to The Breast Cancer Site and click for free!  They are striving to get, I think, 750 free mammograms funded this month!  www.thebreastcancersite.com

That's gonna be it for now!  I hope you all are doing well!

Hugs,
April
